Hiervandaan
Hiervandaan is an independent one woman illustration and art studio in The Hague, founded in 2006 by Danièle Knirim. She fell in love with paper years ago. Ever since it’s her go-to material to work with. It started when Danièle was browsing in a bookstore. She opened an old worn book and this particular page popped up. Spots of the water damage and beautiful colors of the aging process triggered her imagination. She saw a face, made from pieces of these worn papers. And so she did. To this day this is still her process.
